The situation

Wednesday 18 March 2026, late afternoon. Joan types HF-88301 into the prototype and the card appears: Atlas Office Furniture Ltd., 3 working days late, credit £42.00, her own note underneath. "That is the three windows gone," she says.

Carol Whitfield has stopped behind you on her way out. She watches for a minute. "Great. Roll it out to everyone on Monday."

What Carol saw was eight sample shipments on your laptop, with no login and no owner. What she believes she saw is a product. This lesson is about the next thirty seconds.
