Lab: Stakeholder work across Rafael's departure

17 min read·13 Oct 2026
Module 10 · Lab · About 60 minutes · Needs: lessons 1 and 2 of this module (the map, the ledger, the options, the ladder)

What you are building

THE FORTNIGHT, KEPT AS DATA map + roles Fri 8 May ledger 13 to 21 May options Tue 19 May escalation Tue 19 May handover 21 to 26 May 6 checks, rerun weekly
Five pieces of stakeholder work (blue, your system) become data in the repository, and six checks (green, passed) rerun them whenever a date or name changes.

The lessons each took one day and one tool. This lab runs the whole fortnight, from Friday 8 May, when Rafael tells you he is leaving, to Tuesday 26 May, when Helen takes over. You keep five things as data in the repository: the stakeholder map, the expectation ledger, the scope options laid on the calendar, the escalation note to Carol, and the handover of the champion role. Each comes with a check written in plain Python, so that next week, when a date or a name changes, you rerun the checks instead of rereading your notes.

There is no model call. Every step is bookkeeping that is easy to get wrong on a busy day and easy to check in code. Everything at Harbourline is simulated.
