The situation

Wednesday 7 October 2026, week 5. Nare types one long question: "How many participants will the nap study have, is the sleep lab free the week of 19 October, and what do my notes say about naps and recall?" Three questions, two servers.

Tomas suggests one helper per part. Priya asks whether her tools could call "the notes helper" too. And every tool definition costs tokens on every call (Modules 3 and 6). This lesson splits the question and measures what each choice costs.

Nare's question participants, sleep lab, naps orchestrator splits, combines notes worker participants calendar worker 19 October notes worker naps, recall notes :8100 calendar :8101
The running example: one question, an orchestrator (blue) and three workers (amber: each runs a model) sharing two running servers.
