Lesson 1: The Python SDK v2, from prototype to package

Module 5 · Lesson 1 · About 45 minutes · Needs: Modules 1 to 4 (a server with tools, resources and a prompt; in-memory and stdio clients)
The situation
Monday 21 September 2026, week 3. Modules 3 and 4 left you prototype scripts that build their store and server the moment they are imported. That was fine for learning. It is wrong for what comes next: Module 6's host must start the server, Tomas wants a reindex button, and every change needs tests that never touch Nare's real notes.
Today the prototype becomes a package on version 2 of the Python SDK. The running example is Nare's search for "nap study", which should find the anchor note lab-sync-2026-09-02.
