Lesson 4: Moving slow work off the request path

Module 11 · Lesson 4 · About 45 minutes · Needs: Lesson 3 (Redis basics), Module 4 (what an embedding is)
The situation
Priya's team edits a help-centre article and presses Publish. The page hangs, because the save handler re-embeds the article before it replies. Marta also wants a ticket report every night, and nobody wants a web request that runs for minutes.
Dev's answer: the request saves the change and drops a note in a job queue, and a separate process, a worker, does the slow part later. This lesson builds that for two jobs: re-embedding an article after it changes, and the nightly ticket report, stored as a file in a bucket.
