Priya has ten open support tickets and wants the assistant to draft a reply for each. Every reply is one call to the model, about half a second each, nearly all of it waiting for the answer to travel back.
The first version answers the tickets one after another. Ten tickets take five seconds, and the program is not busy for any of it: it sits still, waiting for one reply before sending the next request. This lesson is about waiting for many things at once, and the one mistake that quietly turns the gain off.
