The situation

It is Monday 21 September 2026, project week 3. Dev retypes the product, the fault and the date from every repair booking into the workshop diary, and asks for them to be pulled out for him.

A typical message from the hand-written test set (simulated, like all Tidewell data): "The display on my Volt 2 Step-Through keeps showing E07 and the motor won't engage. Bought it on 14 March." Module 1's regular expressions find codes, not the thing being complained about. For that you need the grammar of the sentence, and spaCy gives it to you.

HT09, A WARRANTY FAULT The display on my Volt 2 Step-Through keeps showing E07 ... Bought it on 14 March. product: my Volt 2 Step-Through problem: the display, the motor date: 14 March
Dev retypes the product, the problem and the date from every booking (blue: what your system will extract); this lesson finds them as phrases.
